Welcome To St. Anne's Parents, Teachers And Friends Association
Whether your family is new to the school or you have been involved with St Annes for more years than you care to remember, we are sure that you will agree that is always good to know what efforts are being made to make your child’s time at school an enjoyable and fulfilling one!
We are very fortunate at our school to have a PTFA that is and has been such an integral part of the school community for many years. In its time the PTFA has raised many thousands of pounds, which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school in general.
As in most schools, the majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. Some of our most popular events are the Summer Fair, Christmas Fair, Sponsored Bounce and Fancy Dress Disco.
But it is much, much more than just fundraising. The PTFA exists to provide closer links between home and school, and it is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school working towards a common goal. And it’s fun! Ask any of the PTFA committee or parents who have provided support in the past.
What we want everyone to know through this newsletter is that all parents, guardians and members of the school community can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available, and all parents are automatically members of the Association when they join our school. And it goes without saying that any help and support given to the school and the PTFA is always gratefully received.
We are always looking for new ways to raise money and new events for the children to enjoy at school. If you have any suggestions for the next issue of the newsletter, a fundraising event, something you would like the PTFA to raise funds for at the school or you are able to help at any of the PTFA events, please let us know!
Thanks again for your continuing support,
St Anne’s PTFA
